The National Salvation Front announces a chapter (6) of its military leaders
Addis Ababa – Ethiopia – 6 August – President of the National Salvation Front, General Thomas Cirillo Swaka, announced the dismissal of six of his military leaders for suspicious activities on Sunday.
The move comes after Major General Julius Tapoli, a senior general of the National Redemption Movement (NRF), declared himself commander of the Front to replace Thomas Cirillo Suaka.
In a statement, the Front explained that “it has been closely following the covert and subversive activities of Major General Julius Tabouli, Dr. Kassim Barnabas Kisanga, General Khalid Boutros, Major General Ali Kor, Brigadier General Natanial Chol Qai and General Michael Iwen last month, Officers do not conform to the aspirations and vision of the National Redemption Front. “
The opposition leader said the six military officials had been dismissed from office and expelled from the movement for dubious activities with a third party to sabotage the search for a just peace in southern Sudan.
Suakka assured his supporters that the dismissal of senior military generals would not affect the Salvation Front.
