The Ministry of Higher Education is working on the rehabilitation of the University of Upper Nile
North Upper Nile – 9 August – The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Southern Sudan, Yin Waral Lam, said that his ministry, in cooperation with the Japanese government, is working on the rehabilitation of the facilities of the University of Upper Nile to return to its headquarters in the city of Malakal.
This came in a statement on Wednesday during his visit to the city of Renk in northern Upper Nile with the Ambassador of Japan in southern Sudan to find out the facilities of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry.
The minister pointed out that next week witnessed the arrival of a team to assess the actual needs of the University and its various colleges in both Renk and Malakal.
The University of Upper Nile has moved to the city of Juba during the events in the country in 2013.
